I recommend a favorite book every month. It might be fun or a little sad, science fiction or realistic, but it has to be pretty awesome to get picked.

June’s Book of the Month is Away by Megan Freeman! This is a companion book to Alone (which was January 2024’s BOTM!) and this book is equally as good! Filled with adventure, chaos and tons of suspense, Away is about 4 kids looking into the imminent danger that is threatening the state of Colorado. Written in verse, screen-plays and journal entries, this unique novel would be a great book for boys and girls 10 and up! And it is also the perfect book for my birthday month! 😉
